Why the cycle time changes

The first number is an estimate. Modern dishwashers keep recalculating as they measure the load.

Soil sensors

Auto and sensor cycles inspect the wash water and change the number or length of wash and rinse phases.

Incoming water temperature

The machine may pause while its heater brings water to the programmed temperature. Cooler inlet water creates a longer hold.

Selected options

Sanitize, high-temperature wash and heated drying add heating or holding phases. Compare the option-specific time when the manual publishes one.

What to trust

Use the exact model manual and the live display. A published table establishes the expected range, not a promise to finish at one precise minute.
