What is the Delicate cycle used for?
This gentler cycle is for washable fabrics that need reduced mechanical action.
It normally uses softer wash motion and a gentler spin profile to reduce stretching, tangling and wear.
Choose another cycle for: Heavy soil, bulky pieces and hand-wash-only garments unless their label permits machine washing.
What this means for your load
The documentation lists 35 minutes for this program under its stated conditions.
Why the time may change: Load balance, selected spin speed and extra rinse can change the total time.
Check the full BLACK+DECKER BPWM16W cycle table to compare other programs before starting.
Estimated finish time
Estimated energy and local cost
This range is calculated from the documented cycle characteristics and appliance type. It is deliberately shown as a range because load conditions, temperature selections, sensors and options change consumption.

The timing and model-specific note above come from or summarize the linked BLACK+DECKER BPWM16W instruction manual, rinse and spin cycle guide. The usage explanation adds practical context based on the cycle name and appliance type; it does not replace the model manual or an item's care label.
