What is the Towels cycle used for?
This cycle is tuned for absorbent, durable items that become heavy when wet.
It accounts for the way towels hold water and may use stronger wash action or spin behavior than an everyday cycle.
Choose another cycle for: Mixing towels with lightweight garments that can tangle or dry differently.
What this means for your load
Dedicated program for absorbent towels. Check the appliance display for its current estimate.
Why the time may change: Load weight, water absorption and balance correction affect the final duration.
Check the full LG WM6500HBA cycle table to compare other programs before starting.
When will it finish?
This variable program depends on the stored cycle, options or sensed load. Use the appliance's current displayed estimate.
Estimated energy and local cost
This range is calculated from the documented cycle characteristics and appliance type. It is deliberately shown as a range because load conditions, temperature selections, sensors and options change consumption.

The timing and model-specific note above come from or summarize the linked LG WM6500H series official product page, specification sheet and owner manual. The usage explanation adds practical context based on the cycle name and appliance type; it does not replace the model manual or an item's care label.
